The BenCast #83 – Grim Solace, Emaneska and More
It’s been a damn exciting start to the year for me, what with Grim Solace out and The Written becoming an Amazon bestseller. It’s been hella busy, too, organising the rapid release of Chasing Graves and kicking off the new Emaneska Series, and they haven’t left me with a lot of time to keep you readers up to date. So, as it’s high time I did, I thought I would head down to frigid Victoria Harbour, brave the crowds of geese, and put together a new BenCast for you all about what madness I’ve got

The BenCast #80 – My 1-Star Reviews
In this latest BenCast, I go through my 1-star reviews. Yep. You read that right. I go toe to toe with the lowest of the low ratings. From my debut The Written to the newest book The Heart of Stone, here’s why people don’t like my stories or my writing. You can’t win them all I think it’s always useful to look at both good and bad reviews. Sometimes they’re constructive and useful, so never wise to dismiss just out of hand. I found it quite entertaining to dig these up and look through. If you

The BenCast #78 – Chasing Graves: Map 2
The second map for Chasing Graves has finally been finished! I’ve put together a time-lapse of how I created the second Chasing Graves map – the city map of Araxes, the City of Countless Souls. This was a tough project due to the amount of detail involved, taking far longer than the previous world map, but I’m incredibly pleased with how it finally turned out. It took far more digital jiggery pokery than usual, which meant I learnt some new skills along the way. Now it’s done, I think it’ll go
The Ben Cast #77 – A Map for Chasing Graves
The Chasing Graves December launch is hurtling towards us. I’ve been working hard this month, and now that the writing is done, the cover art is almost ready, and the release date has been set, it’s time to get the maps done. There’ll be two maps in each book of the Chasing Graves Trilogy, one for the overall world and one for the city of Araxes, which I’ll be tackling next week. An Interview with a Golem
Ladies and gentlefolks, I have the privilege, nay the honour, to introduce my guest for today’s interview. Please make yourself comfortable. Thank you for
